Let Sundays Be Sacred (However You Define Sacred)

There’s a quiet kind of sacredness that Sundays hold—if we allow them to.
Not because of tradition. Not because of pressure. But because Sunday offers us a chance to begin again.
For SOF families, time doesn’t always move in weeks. It moves in rotations, phases, countdowns, and extended separations. But still—Sundays can be anchors. Gentle reminders to recalibrate.
What if Sunday became less about performance and more about presence?
Less pressure to “get ahead,” and more permission to check in.
Less rushing to do, and more settling into being.
Less scrolling, more soul-filling.
Sacred doesn’t have to mean spiritual. It can mean meaningful. Intentional. Quietly powerful.
So whether your Sunday looks like sleeping in, catching up, prepping for a long week, or lighting a candle and taking three deep breaths—let it be yours.
You don’t need anyone’s approval to make this day sacred. You just need to remember that your soul deserves space, too.
