About Our 85-hr Yin Yoga Certification
Now open for enrollment, the Lotus River Wellness 85-Hour Yin Yoga Certification is designed for dedicated individuals ready to deepen their personal practice, expand their understanding of the body and mind, and share the profound benefits of stillness with their community. This program is especially meaningful for military spouses and those seeking a sustainable, heart-led career in the wellness space.
This training will take you on a deep dive into the philosophy, principles, and anatomy of Yin Yoga, including Taoist theory, meridians, the Five Elements, functional movement, and the art of holding space for diverse populations. We’ll explore sequencing, prop usage, modifications, and the integration of mindfulness, meditation, and breathwork. Trauma-informed approaches are woven throughout the training, ensuring your ability to guide safe, inclusive, and transformative classes.
In addition to learning our proven techniques and best practices for teaching Yin Yoga, you’ll be encouraged to cultivate your own teaching style, rooted in your life experiences and passions. This course will empower you to create classes that are not only physically beneficial but also emotionally restorative and energetically balancing.

Upon graduation, you’ll receive a Yoga Alliance–approved 85-hour Continuing Education Certification in Yin Yoga. For eligible military spouses, MyCAA tuition assistance is available, along with additional benevolent support options.
