This 10-hour Yin Yoga training introduces the foundational principles of stillness, long-held postures, and deep tissue release through a trauma-informed and nervous system–aware lens. Designed for both yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners, this course explores the purpose and application of Yin Yoga beyond the physical shapes. Students will learn how to work with fascia, understand the body’s response to sustained holds, and create space for regulation, recovery, and internal awareness. Through guided lessons, you will develop a clear understanding of how Yin supports the nervous system, improves mobility, and complements more dynamic practices. Emphasis is placed on intentional sequencing, safe prop usage, and meeting the body where it is, without force or urgency. This training also introduces the energetic and meditative aspects of Yin, offering a grounded approach to stillness that is accessible, supportive, and deeply restorative. Whether you are looking to expand your teaching skillset or deepen your personal practice, Yin Foundations provides a practical and integrative framework you can apply immediately. This course qualifies for 10 hours of continuing education and may be combined with additional LRW trainings to fulfill Yoga Alliance CE requirements.
